Holding
A holding is a property the company has already bought and has not yet sold. It sits in our name until we decide the sale should start.
On the day the purchase completes, we write a short note. It is for our own file, and later for a buyer.
We do not dress the note up. If the kitchen is new, we say the kitchen is new. If a room needs work, we say that too. A buyer should be able to read the note and know what they will walk into.
Only rooms we have actually walked through are described.
We do not invent a loft conversion or a garden we have not stood in.
Most of the time a holding is not on offer. We are not obliged to show it, and we do not publish a list of everything we own.
If you write with an area and a type of building, we answer only when one holding matches. Silence means we do not have one to sell.
When we choose to sell, the same note is the starting point. The price is ours. A viewing is arranged by email for that address only.
Solicitors then transfer the title out of the company. After completion it is no longer a holding, and the note is closed.
Living in the building, or paying rent for it, is not how this works. The company owns the property outright until a buyer completes. We do not grant a tenancy from this page.
If you want to buy a holding we are ready to sell, use the contact form and name the area.
If you are selling to us, the holding does not exist yet. It starts only after we complete the purchase. Send the address you want us to buy, and we will say yes or no.
